ABOUT THE GRIN KIDS

ACE & TJ’s Grin Kids is a non-profit 501c3 charity, created by morning show personalities ACE & TJ in Charlotte, North Carolina in January of 2000.  The name of the organization comes from ACE & TJ’s motto on their morning show, “You Grin, You’re In!”

ACE & TJ’s Grin Kids is designed to enhance the lives of children who are terminally ill and chronically handicapped, ages five through twelve, in the listening area.  Each year, ACE & TJ’s Grin Kids takes as many children as financially possible to Disney World with their parents and siblings.  Because of their special needs and financial strain, this is an experience that many of these children and families would not be able to know without the help of ACE & TJ’s Grin Kids.

Over the years, ACE & TJ’s Grin Kids has taken over 150 Grin Kids and their families on a charter flight to Disney World.  Once at the hotel, the families were given park passes, meal coupons and Disney Dollars.

“Thank you for giving our family a trip we did not think possible”, one family wrote.  Another said, “we have never seen Jeffrey (a Grin Kid) so expressive and joyful”.

ACE & TJ do various fundraisers for ACE & TJ’s Grin Kids during the year such as selling their Best-of-CD, hosting a Second Chance Prom, and an annual Golf Tournament.
We need your help!

We need all of the support and assistance possible from the local and national companies, including individuals in the Charlotte, NC / Lake Norman area. Our goal is to reach $1 million dollars in 10 years. This will be the 4th year of the event and we have already reached the $300,000 mark. This year's tournament will be a wonderful experience and the perfect opportunity to contribute to a great cause, become active in the community and mingle with many corporate executives, high profile celebrities and athletes.
