ABOUT THE CHARITY & EVENT

The Grin Kids Charity & Celebrity Open was established in 2003. The purpose of this weekend-long event is to unite in a fun, interactive environment and raise money for the most precious resource of all, our children! ACE & TJ’s Grin Kids is a non-profit, 501c3 charity, created by Charlotte, NC based morning show personalities ACE & TJ in January of 2000. The name of the organization comes from ACE & TJ’s morning show motto, “You Grin, You’re In!”

ACE & TJ’s Grin Kids is designed to enhance the lives of children, ages five through twelve, who are terminally ill and chronically handicapped.  Each year, ACE & TJ’s Grin Kids affords as many children as financially possible a Disney World vacation with their parents and siblings. Because of their special needs and financial strain, this is an experience that many children and families would not be able to know without the help of ACE & TJ’s Grin Kids.
We need as much support and assistance possible to make this trip a reality for this years group of Grin Kids. We ask local, regional and national companies, including individuals in the Charlotte and Lake Norman, NC areas to contribute. Our goal of reaching 1 million dollars is quickly becoming a reality. 2013 marks the 10th annual Grin Kids Charity Weekend, which has already raised a total of over $500,000.00 for the Grin Kids Charity. This tournament is a wonderful experience, easy way to contribute to a great cause and a fun way to become active in the community, networking with corporate executives, high profile celebrities and athletes.
Donations and sponsorships are tax deductible, as permitted by law.
